Background and Worldview: In Neon City in 2077, all the streets are skateboarding tracks. But an evil tech company called Genesis Eye is trying to block the streets with drones and electromagnetic fences to implement their toll road system. As a street skateboarder, you must use your skills to navigate the blockade and upload hacks to restore freedom to the streets. Meanwhile, your social media followers will increase with your amazing tricks.
Core Gameplay: In addition to basic parkour, skateboards have a “balance bar”—the balance bar decreases when performing tricks (such as mid-air grabs and bridges), and recovers and gains energy upon a successful landing. A fall occurs when the balance bar reaches zero. You can “grind” (glide along the handrails), swiping left and right to switch to different handrail branches. Collect “batteries” to charge your skateboard and use “electromagnetic pulses” to destroy drones ahead.
Features: Dynamic stunt scoring system; higher combos result in higher score multipliers. Customize your skateboard, wheels, bearings, and even have “holographic skins.” Supports a “video editor” to create and share your skateboarding videos. Features a “gang system”: compete against different skateboarding gangs and win their exclusive accessories. Supports a “track editor” to share custom tracks.
