Background and Worldview: You are a self-aware puppet trapped in a bizarre puppet theater. The theater’s owner, the “Puppeteer,” controls all the puppets with invisible strings, attempting to erase your consciousness as well. You must run along the stage, backstage, prop room, and attic, cutting all the strings controlling you and finding the theater’s exit. However, other puppets along the way will be controlled by the Puppeteer to attack you.
Core Gameplay: The “String Cutting” Mechanism. Several faintly visible strings (displayed as thin lines) connect you to your body. When a string is tightened (the indicator turns red), you need to quickly click the corresponding “cut” button (in the four corners of the screen) to cut the string; otherwise, you will be pulled down. Simultaneously, you need to control your movement to avoid attacks from other marionettes. “Spotlights” will appear on the stage; standing in the light will make you the Puppeteer’s direct target, requiring you to quickly leave.
Features and Highlights: Victorian Gothic art style; the puppets’ joint movements are very strange yet intricate. Each puppet enemy has a different attack pattern. Multiple endings: Can you rescue other puppets while escaping? Supports “Theater Backstage” mode, unlocking all puppet models for viewing.
