Background and Worldview: You are a pixel character living in an 8-bit game world. One day, a higher-dimensional “virus program” invades your world, attempting to delete all pixel data. You must traverse various retro game levels (such as platforming, shooting games, and RPG maps) to reach the central “code source” and run an antivirus program. However, the virus will self-replicate, transforming into your pixelated form to confuse you. Core Gameplay: “Art Style Switching” – You can actively switch the current world’s “bit” (4-bit, 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit). The map’s physics (gravity, collision volume) and visuals will change depending on the bit depth. For example, in 8-bit, you can pass through some seemingly solid pixels, but not in 16-bit. You need to use art style switching to overcome seemingly impossible obstacles. Collecting “code blocks” can temporarily activate “cheat mode” (invincibility, wall-clipping).
Features: Includes multiple levels that pay homage to classic games (Pac-Man maze, Tetris stacking walls). Supports “bug exploits”: In certain areas, you can achieve a “flying bug” through specific actions (such as immediately switching art style after jumping), which is an officially allowed shortcut. Features retro filters (CRT scan lines, pixelation). Over 200 “pixel skins”.
Level Introduction: A total of 1200 levels, divided into 12 game worlds, each with 100 levels: Forest World, Desert World, Underwater World, Sky World, Icefield World, Volcano World, Mechanical Factory, Graveyard, Space, Code Abyss, Virus Nest, and Primordial Temple.
